The Box Office is located inside the foyer of the Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre (Ford St end) and is open from 10am-4pm | Mon-Fri and 1hr prior to all ticketed Performances.
Tickets can be purchased online however if you would like to purchase in person or need assistance this can be done over the phone during Box Office hours by calling 03 5722 8105
We operate under a NO REFUNDS / NO EXCHANGES Policy (click here to download our Ticketing Policy).
Box Office Collection
If you nominate to collect your tickets from the Box Office, your tickets will be ready for collection from the next business day, but you are welcome to collect 1 hour prior to the performance
You must present ID on collection of tickets, if you wish for someone else to collect your tickets, please notify the Box Office prior to arrange.
Concession Card Holders
Concession Card holders must carry their Concession Card on them at all times and present on request at the doors to the theatre.
The venue reserves the right to refuse entry if you cannot produce the relevant concession card
Wheelchairs and Mobility
Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre is an access friendly venue. Both our external entrances have ramp access as well as each of our internal venue spaces.
We have a designated “mobility” row in the Theatre to accommodate anyone with wheelchair requirements or mobility concerns. These are not available online, so please contact the Box Office to arrange these seats.
The max. wheelchair / scooter size we can accommodate in the Theatre is 800W x 1300L
If you have any mobility seating requirements, we urge you not to leave it until the last minute as these seats are released for general sale one week prior to a performance if not sold prior.
We support the Carer Card program and are Companion Card affiliated

Our Theatre (Alpine MDF Theatre) has a hearing loop for your enjoyment.
To access it please turn your hearing aid onto the T mode and ensure you purchase tickets Row D back and two seats in from the aisles for optimal hearing.
The Balcony is only opened when the stalls are close to being full, or when we believe a show will be close to sell out.
Please note the only access to the balcony is via stairs so if you find climbing stairs difficult or suffer from Vertigo we strongly suggest you get in early and purchase your tickets in the Stalls.
Intermezzo is a warm and friendly café with indoor / outdoor eating options.
Open 7 days a week, it is open for Breakfast and Lunch daily and open for Dinners whenever a performance is on and also open most Friday nights.
Intermezzo prides itself on offering a seasonal menu and great coffee. It’s a great place to catch up with friends for lunch or a light snack, and is located at the Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre making it the perfect place to dine prior to a performance.

Where are we?
Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre is located in the heart of Wangaratta CBD on the corner of Ford & Ovens Streets. We are right next door to the Wangaratta Art Gallery and across the road from Big W.
Where to park?
Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre has 3hr parking to the rear of the venue during business hours, with no limits out of business hours.
Big W is located across the road from the venue and has 2hr parking during business hrs and unlimited parking at all other times. There is limited ALL DAY PARKING along Cusack & Norton Streets, and other street parking surrounding the venue with limited times during business hrs
How to find us?
Wangaratta is situated on the major transport corridor (Hume Fwy) between Melbourne-Sydney & Canberra.
By Train – Wangaratta Train Station is located on Norton Street, which is an easy stroll to the venue
By Road – Wangaratta is 2.5hrs drive from Melb, 50min from Albury/Wodonga, 25min from Beechworth and 45min from Yarrawonga
By Plane – Albury Airport is only 75Klm’s from Wangaratta and offers many commercial flights daily to the major capital cities
The Alpine MDF Theatre can seat up to 520 people (with 364 in the Stalls and 156 in the Balcony) .
It has tiered seating throughout and offers excellent viewing throughout the theatre
Front Row A/AA
Row A is our fixed front row however we do have a removable row of seating Row AA which sits in front of that and can be in or out depending on the Hirers / Producers requirements. AA may be opened up at a later stage and is at the discretion of the hirer or venue management.
If the Orchestra Pit is being used, or if the Stage is being extended, Row AA will be removed to accommodate this.
