If you’re looking for a venue to hold your next event, look no further!

Wangaratta Performing Arts & Convention Centre is located in the heart of Wangaratta’s CBD.  We have a number of versatile spaces that each offer flexible layouts to suit your event’s individual needs.

With an on-site caterer, we can organise all your catering requirements at the same time as your booking, so you’re just dealing with the one person.

Venue Spaces

Alpine MDF Theatre

The Alpine MDF Theatre can accommodate up to 514 people in tiered seating over two levels. Providing a warm, intimate atmosphere that’s popular with both performers and audiences.

Perfect for live performance, conference keynote speakers, seminars and forums. The Theatre hire is always complemented by full technical support during your performance / event.

Conference Room

The Conference Room can accommodate up to 70 theatre style, providing an intimate, flexible space utilising natural light. It is the perfect space for meetings, workshops, presentations or information sessions.

Conveniently located off the main foyer (between the Box Office and Intermezzo Café) making it very accessible for your guests to find.

We offer flexible layouts depending on your group’s individual needs. This particular space boasts a private deck which is perfect for a breakout space, lunch space or simply to open the door and let in some fresh air.

Memorial Hall

The Memorial Hall is a flat floor space which can accommodate up to 350 people theatre style. It has ramp access, and is flexible in both size and layout options.  It’s perfect for large scale events, corporate dinners, large meetings, weddings, and trade shows.

The Memorial Hall can also be divided into smaller spaces (A & B) depending on your event size and layout requirements. Located off the upper foyer, offering a convenient additional space for registration, pre-event drinks, catering or displays.

Memorial Hall A

Memorial Hall A is the smaller of the two spaces, to the left from the Upper Foyer when the Memorial Hall is divided off.  It’s the perfect blank canvas for small-medium size events.

Memorial Hall A has it’s own AV equipment, portable staging and direct access to our Commercial Kitchen. Please refer to the Venue Capacities table below for further information.

Memorial Hall B

Memorial Hall B is the larger of the two spaces to the right from the Upper Foyer when the Memorial Hall is divided off.

It is the perfect space for a medium size events. With inbuilt AV equipment, portable staging and direct access to the back car park, Memorial Hall B is another great flexible space.

Conferences

Wangaratta Performing Arts & Convention Centre has multiple venue spaces ideal for all event markets.

Each space has inbuilt AV equipment and WiFi connectivity, as well as mints, note pads, whiteboards & flip charts  along with friendly technical staff are on hand to ensure your event runs smoothly from start to finish. Plus, we can organise your catering so you can simply come along and enjoy.

Dinners

Looking for somewhere to hold your next important dinner? Look no further. The Memorial Hall offers flexible layouts to suit each event’s individual needs.

Allow us to help you organise your next important event, be it a Gala Dinner,
Awards Nights or an End of Year Ball.

With helpful technical staff on hand, your dream event can become a reality.

Meetings

Our venue has various versatile spaces to accommodate your groups size and individual needs.

From 20 people through to 500, we’re sure to have the perfect space for you. (Please refer to Venue Capacities for layouts and sizes).

Each of our spaces have inbuilt AV equipment and WiFi connectivity along with friendly technical and catering staff who are on hand to ensure your event runs smoothly from start to finish.

Seminars

From large scale public seminars to private groups, we can arrange the perfect configuration to suit your event needs.

With various spaces to choose from, you might like to access them all? You may have an all day seminar going on in the theatre, while simultaneously having exhibitors set up in the Memorial Hall, and registrations in the Upper Foyer. The possibilities are endless.

Exhibitions

The Wangaratta Performing Arts & Convention Centre is the perfect venue for
exhibitions, offering multiple indoor spaces, two foyer areas and a
beautifully shaded grass space right outside the building.

Conveniently located in the heart of Wangaratta CBD, close to public transport and ample accommodation options makes it the ideal location for your guests.
